Magtymguly Pyragy - light of our heart
36Mister President's attention to the important issues of education and training, the formation and development of the spiritual and moral culture of the young generation, the development of the moral qualities of young people, the upbringing of young people with the spirit of patriotism, along with all areas of state life, makes teachers who tirelessly carry out the moral development of the young generation even more proud.
Educating the younger generation with books and works of art is one of the noble goals of educators. It is the sacred duty of educators to give patriotic education, aesthetic education, labor education, spiritual and moral education to the young generation through works of art, short stories and poems, to create in them love for the Motherland, Mother Earth, to create love and respect for parents, to teach respect for education, science and books.
There is probably no doubt in anyone that exemplary literature has a very effective influence on the human mind, especially on the minds of the younger generation as they develop as personalities. For example, in the works of the great thinker-poet Magtymguly Pyragy, whose poetry has been compared to the bowl of Jamshid, the themes of life, patriotism and heroism, advice and counseling, riding horses, love and nature are widely conveyed. His poems about homeland, heroism, people, unity and integrity constitute one of the most important parts of his creativity. As our Gahryman Arkadag said, “Magtymguly Pyragy is a true patriot who dreams of an indestructible, sovereign Turkmen state, its unity and integrity.”
Magtymguly is considered the joy and pride of the Turkmen people; he was recognized as the poet of the past, present and future. Our wise poet is a master who introduced Turkmen literature not only among the Turkmen people but also among the peoples of the world.
Magtymguly, by making his poor heart rich,
Keeping the land of patience as your abode
If everyone treated their lover like a newborn moon.
Looks for his own moon and does not look at any other moon
with his lines, he taught them to be rich in heart and soul, to make patience their friend, and to be loyal to their love.
His exemplary lines about respecting the places where he was educated encourage young people to respect knowledge and education, to respect the school where they study:
I will never forget the golden door
I'm gone, goodbye beautiful Shirgazy!
with his lines, or he expresses his respect and gratitude to the place of scholarship in wise verses, reciting the lines “by making this a place to living place, I ate his bread for three years”
Reading the works of classical poets happens more clearly. Because our classical poets have managed to show deep meanings with lines of poetry that seem simple when you look at them, and to skillfully express thoughts of wisdom as wide as oceans and as high as mountains with their "short but concise" words. It should be emphasized that students increase their vocabulary by reading these works and find the words they do not understand in dictionaries. This develops their ability to use libraries and information sources on their own and to think on their own.
As a result of the tireless efforts of Gahryman Arkadagly Serdar and Gahryman Arkadag, who have great respect for the poet, saying that “Pyragy's great poems are a great lesson for all generations”, in 2024 - the year of “Magtymguly Pyragy - Ocean of wisdom and intelligence” in our stable State - great opportunities have been created for the correct use, study and effective use of the intellectual and cultural heritage left by our ancestors in the education of future generations.
