Independence is the fundamental basis of Turkmenistan's state policy
57 With theleadership of our Dear President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, independent and
permanently neutral Turkmenistan celebrates major developments and milestones
every day. As a democratic, legal and secular state where human rights are
protected and guaranteed by constitutional laws, the country is undergoing
major reforms in a new stage of development. Fulfilling the wish of the
ancient Turkmen people for freedom 33 years ago, the Constitutional Law “On the
Independence of Turkmenistan and the Foundations of the State Structure” was
adopted and Turkmenistan was declared an independent state. Since gaining Independence,
our country has been steadily moving forward every year, successfully
implementing socio-economic programs and improving state administration. Continuous
efforts are being made to strengthen the democratic, legal and secular
foundations of our country.
The
constitutional reforms carried out on the initiative of the our Gahryman
Arkadag are of great importance in terms of protecting the rights and freedoms
of the people and attracting different segments of society to manage state
affairs. The 33rd anniversary of Independence is of great importance for the
Turkmen people. Today we can confidently say that during the years of
independence, the year of “Magtymguly Pyragy - Ocean of wisdom and
intelligence”, the year of fame and achievements, the reforms that took place
in the life of our country, every day, and every month of sovereign development
was filled with historically significant political, economic and cultural
events.
I wholeheartedly
congratulate all Turkmen people, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gahryman
Arkadag, and our President Arkadagly Gahryman Serdar with the occasion of the
33rd anniversary of our glorious Independence. I wish our Gahryman Arkadag and Gahryman
Arkadagly Serdar to have a healthy life, a long life, and that their actions in
the interests of the country and for the whole humanity will lead to prosperity
